Who We Are

Walter A. Stolpp started Hillside Heating & Air Conditioning Inc. September 1, 1980.  We are a family run business whose primary goal is excellent customer service. Our employees do not work on commission.  We feel that this keeps our work honest and to the point. Hillside is not a company that has a high turn over of employees or customers.  We put our contract customers first and do not take on work that would affect our ability to offer fast and reliable service.  In keeping with the idea of reliability we do not hire untrained personnel before summer and then lay them off during the winter.  This means that our technicians are experienced with our buildings and the way in which we conduct business.  We maintain our crew of technicians and installers throughout the year.  Hillside trains our new hires (experienced / inexperienced) for three to six months with a journeyman before they are allowed to perform work on their own.  We take pride in our work and if there is a problem as a result of our workmanship or material, we will resolve the problem in a professional and expedient manner.
